Royal Mail Post Boxes

This is the post box on the wall near my mom’s house in Orkney. These ones may not be as iconic as the pillar boxes, but I like the way you get to put your letters into the wall because it feels really secure like putting your secrets into a safe.

Bottle building - 1963 & 2011

The Guardian has some great videos from the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas earlier in the month. The Miniwiz bottle building (pictured above) really caught my eye:
